Building a Body of Love | 4 – 8 January | 7- 8am at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club + via Zoom

Over 5 consecutive mornings we will explore through a gentle yoga practice how to build a body of love so that you are fit to handle life.

To develop a body of love, what is of utmost importance is to look after our vehicle, which is our human body. Not only is building a body of love about the things we do to take care of ourselves, it is very much about the ‘how’ we take care of ourselves, the quality that we can connect to and live by. Donna’s classes focus on connecting to and moving from this quality – her style being gentle and deeply nurturing.

The 5 morning classes will include body awareness meditation, gentle breathing and postures to strengthen and stretch the body in a very loving way.

This 5 day intensive is open to all levels from the complete beginner to the more experienced practitioner.

With safe social distancing there is a limited number of spaces available to attend this event live at the Warriewood Surf Club. We will however, also be offering the intensive for the first time live via Zoom. Book in early to avoid missing out as this is usually a sell out event.  Investment $121.

In this 10 minute video Donna shares with you some of her favourite stretches. When trying these stretches at home, please take care of yourself by only attempting the stretches if they are appropriate for your body.

Whilst stretching, maintain a gentle natural breath and it is important to not push yourself in the stretches at all. You can hold each stretch for several breaths.

If you are trying these stretches for yourself at home, please take care of your body by being aware of any injuries or conditions that may prevent you from doing the stretches. For those with hip or knee injuries, the hip stretches are best avoided.

Donna Nolan teaches Yoga, Exercise & Massage and is a Bodywork Therapist. She has a love of working with the body and enjoys sharing with people how to move and exercise in connection with their body.
